In this digital age, with the evolution of big data (Big Data) and artificial intelligence (AI), all things are being connected, creating a giant archive of information. Especially with the explosion of social networks in recent years, user data is accumulated more day by day. This is an extremely valuable resource that businesses can take advantage of in understanding the market and customer needs for product and brand development. But how to take advantage of that resource effectively is a problem that causes many businesses a headache. Aiming to help enterprises to have more understanding of this matter, cMetric Corporation organized the seminar Social Data - Brand Development with Big Data on October 7, 2020.

The event had the participation of leading units in various fields of digital technology, online marketing, Big Data / AI research, representatives of 50 businesses, and multiple press agencies that were interested in the topic. The seminar was in three parts with the main content:

  • Social data analysis and new tools introduction

  • Social listening application to businesses and case studies

  • Q&As for cMetric in Clever Group's ecosystem.

In the opening, Mr. Le Cong Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Information Retrieval JSC (InfoRe) shared his opinions on the market as well as gave the guests an overview. about Big Data research, using AI technology in data collection and analysis in the world and Vietnam.

Take the example of a giant in retail - Amazon, which receives and processes millions of orders daily, that is also an opportunity for them to access a large amount of customer data. Thanks to that, Amazon can grasp the needs of customers in each region and country, proactively prepare items, products as well as appropriate transportation and warehousing systems.

In Vietnam, the Internet has developed with such speed, social networks are booming, digital data archive is increasing day by day, but many businesses are being indifferent to this resource. Otherwise, they would consider this a difficult problem when they do not know the tools, analysis and execution methods.

The answer to that was brought up in the second part of the workshop by Mr. Le Hong Son - CEO of cMetric Corporation. Mr. Son introduced solutions to apply social listening technology in solving practical problems for businesses.
